A new chapter has started. I'm a little wary as to how it will turn out, but I am sure i won't be disappointed. I think regardless of how good or bad it is, I will learn something new and will be one step closer to knowing what i want to do with my life. *phew*!!!
So far, I've been living at my temple and things have been wonderful. All the temple "kids" have been here for winter break and I got to see (almost) everybody!!! ^___^
I wish we could have spent more time together, and possibly done more exciting things, but really, I don't care. I got to see everyone and get a TINY bit closer. So for that, I am grateful. :)
Also, I've already found a place to live! It's $660 a month, all utilities (except internet) are included, and there seem to be a nice group of people that are included in the package. hahaaa. The house itself has 44 rooms total so there are lots of possible friends to be made. woot.
Also, I was thinking along the lines of since my classes are at night and because I will be volunteering/working in the day, I won't be able to meet many people very easily. HENCE, this plan to live with a bunch of students! Hopefully I won't be considered a weirdo to ALL of them. <__<
Anywho, this may be a bit late, but I've also decided on a few random resolutions for the year:
1. Be more extroverted. Go out more. Meet more people.
2. Keep old friends close. Call someone every week and talk for more than 10 minutes at a time.
3. Find a way to save up some money, and plan a trip somewhere sometime during the year. Maybe visit family (my sister) or a friend far away.
4. Control how much I eat and exercise on a regular basis. At least 3 times a week for 30 minutes or more.
5. Visit the city. SF. Explore.
6. Go to the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
7. Paint something for someone. (If I can. More than one for more than one person.)
8. Watch less TV.
9. Watch less movies.
10. Read more.
11. Paint/draw more.
12. Reach out to people more.
13. Take more photos. Remember these times. They won't happen again. EVER.
14. Take more risks.
15. Tell the people in my life how much I love them. People can never be told that too often.
<__< that was a lot more than i had anticipated. Hopefully I can do/keep these resolutions.
Wish me luck!
I am looking forward to the new year!
